With the scandal of ClimateGate and the unraveling of public support for Cap-and-Trade, Obama is finding another way to ram his “Green” agenda through, come hell or high water.  One of the best ways to bypass the people’s representatives in the legislature is to empower unaccountable federal agencies, like the DOE.

[Obama's] budget provides $28.4 billion for the Department of Energy (DOE) and $10 billion for Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Both sections in the budget reflect the president’s message in the State of the Union address delivered last week: a government attempt to facilitate America’s transition to a clean energy economy.
